Counter |
| Since our inception in 2002, ZogSports has
raised over
$375,000
|
|
|
As a charity focused organization, not
only do we donate
money through our
"Play For Your Cause" contributions, we
also seek out local
charity events
and encourage our members to volunteer. In the coming months, we
have identified two great events in Hoboken in which ZogSportsNJ
will be
participating. We are looking for energetic volunteers
who are
interested
in joining our team and making a difference in the community.

More on ZogSports Philanthropy and Social Action
There are other sports leagues and social organizations in New Jersey,
but none that combine sports leagues, social events and social action.
We organize sports leagues, plan social activities, donate a percentage of
all profits to charity and help you give something back to our community.
ZogSports New Jersey asks each team to select a charity to play
for. Each captain designates an officially sanctioned 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization before the end of the
season.
Instead of prize money, we solicit corporate sponsors who will make
charitable contributions to the winning teams' charities of choice.
While each team has the opportunity to select their own charity of
choice that they would like to play for, we would like to let you know of
some great local charities that do outstanding work in our community!!!
Hoboken
Police Athletic League - P.A.L. is a non-profit Police/Youth
organization with a mission to reduce juvenile delinquency and promote
positive interaction between law enforcement and communities.
Hoboken
Elks - The Elks are involved in a wide variety of programs, from
scholarships to drug education to Veterans Services.
Coalition to Save St.
Mary's Hospital - Organization created to help the fight to keep St.
Mary Hospital open. St. Mary Hospital has been serving Hoboken and
the greater Hudson County community for 143 years.
Meals on Wheels -
The Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) is the oldest and
largest organization in the United States representing those who provide
meal services to people in need.
